The Lesson

Now's the time we all should learn

People aren't valued by what they earn

Stripping the shelves with stupid greed

Leaves our fellows in desperate need

We've raped our earth for far too long

Now let's learn where we went wrong

She's telling us it's time to stop

She can't sustain us 'til she drops

So, come on now, let's learn our lesson

End our stupid greed obsession

Let's get through this then take our chance

To end this pointless, crazy dance

Feed need not greed and value those

That we see now we need the most

Turn hate to love and all war cease

And finally learn to live in peace
